Watch the SAP-E 2026 Forum Recording

The SAP-E 2026 World Stroke Day Forum, held on 29 October, focused on turning the WHO Stroke Resolution and the Stroke Action Plan for Europe into concrete action.

The Forum brought together experts, healthcare professionals and stroke survivor representatives to explore key priorities across the stroke care pathway, including stroke prevention and brain health, equitable access to acute stroke care, rehabilitation, recovery and long-term support.

Country perspectives from Romania, Moldova and Kyrgyzstan highlighted progress, ongoing challenges and opportunities for improvement. The discussions also explored how countries can share successful approaches, strengthen collaboration and accelerate progress towards the SAP-E 2030 targets.
